loose toilet
Guitar"boy", If your nuts are loose I believe that is a question for another forum. But generally if the bolt is loose it has probably separated from the mounting flange. You can push down on the bolt and turn clockwise or counter clockwise and then pull up to see if you have resistance, if so then bolt it down again. If the toilet is bolted directly to the floor then most likely the sub floor has some rotted spots and will not except a screw. In that case one would remove toilet, add new subfloor to that area and bolt it down again.
Re: setting toilets
The floor is ok but the bolt has come loose a couple of times.
I guess I will have to make sure it is tight.
Thanks
